What is an Umbrel Pro?+

A premium personal server and Bitcoin full node, designed to be plugged in once and quietly run for years. We order it ahead of time and bring it to the venue — you collect it in person. No purchase is linked to your name.

How is the Umbrel Pro ordered?+

The nodes meetup entity places the order — not you. There's a layer of anonymity between the retail purchase and your identity. You receive it at the venue in its original packaging as a gift included in the ticket price (~$700 value).

Do I need to be technical?+

No. After the talk, the floor opens for questions and hands-on help getting your node up and running. Beginners are welcome.

What should I wear?+

We'd appreciate it if you dressed on the nicer side — the setting is special and it's a great excuse to dress up a little. That said, no dress code is going to be enforced. Show up in whatever you feel comfortable and confident in. The people in the room matter more than what they're wearing.

Can I bring a guest?+

Of course — a +1 is more than welcome, and genuinely encouraged. Each reservation includes one complimentary guest, and both venues are intended to comfortably accommodate them. We do ask that the atmosphere remain 18+, as there may be alcohol at the event.

Your ticket includes one Umbrel Pro device. If your guest would also like their own device, we're happy to add one on for an additional $700 — just let us know in advance. For more than one additional guest, extra reservations can be requested by email and are subject to availability.

Please also share any food preferences or allergies for your guest ahead of time — if we're ordering or catering food beforehand, we want to make sure everyone is taken care of and the evening is great for both of you. Feel free to bring a friend, colleague, co-worker, or significant other.
